Starting Reception at Lowercroft Primary School – September 2027

A place to grow, explore and belong

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Lowercroft Primary School, we provide a warm and welcoming environment where every child is supported to thrive.

Guided by our ERICC values of Empathy, Respect, Independence, Courage and Curiosity, we nurture a love of learning, build confidence and celebrate every child’s achievements. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that children feel safe, happy and ready to succeed.

Why choose Lowercroft?

At Lowercroft, we offer:

• A warm, caring school community

• Positive behaviour built upon strong relationships

• An exciting curriculum filled with opportunities

• A wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities

• An inclusive and supportive environment

• All-year-round wraparound care

• A school guided by strong values

Outdoor learning

Our fantastic Reception outdoor area provides exciting opportunities for children to play, discover and learn in a safe and stimulating environment.

Outdoor learning is an important part of our Early Years curriculum. It helps children develop their physical skills, imagination, independence and social confidence. Children enjoy active, hands-on experiences where they can investigate, take appropriate risks, be creative and learn in all weathers.

We see the outdoors as an extension of the classroom—a place where curiosity is encouraged, friendships grow and learning comes to life.
