Information for Children - Online Safety
Staying Safe and Smart Online
The internet is an amazing place where you can learn new things, play games, watch videos, and talk to friends. But just like when you cross the road, you need to know how to stay safe. On this page, you’ll find fun websites and games that will help you learn how to make good choices online, keep your information private and be kind to others. Remember – if something online ever makes you feel worried, upset or confused, stop, close the page, and tell a trusted adult.
Here is a rhyme to help you remember:
Click, Think, Tell!
Click and play and learn each day,
Think “is this safe?” along the way.
If something’s odd or makes you yell—
Stop, close the tab, and go to tell!
Keep secrets safe, be kind online,
With grown-ups’ help, you’ll do just fine.
