A very warm welcome to Year 1. 

In Year 1, we continue to build on the important foundations of learning established in the Early Years. Children develop greater independence as they strengthen their phonics, reading, writing and mathematical skills, while also exploring a broad and engaging curriculum.

Our aim is to nurture curiosity, creativity and courage, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged to achieve their very best. Alongside core subjects, the Owls enjoy a wide range of learning experiences across science, history, geography, art, music, PE and more.

We look forward to an exciting year ahead, filled with new discoveries, meaningful learning and plenty of opportunities for our Owls to grow and shine.
